The Auxiliary celebrated its 25th Anniversary at our meeting on July 7. We had cake and a champagne toast and honored the three founders of the Auxiliary–Mary Lou McFarland, Nancy Horch, and Karen Kovarik–who are still active members. Two other founders–Karen O’Donnell and Peggy Grella–also attended.

On July 14 the Auxiliary dedicated the room used by the reading buddies to Nancy Horch, who founded the wonderful Reading Buddy program and has assisted the Village Librarian for many years.
